The musicians

	David Strong - Piano David Strong moved from England to Denmark in 1990 and since has established himself as one of that countries busiest and most versatile pianists. Whether as solo pianist, accompanist or chamber musician David Strong has earned respect and admiration throughout europe. As well as giving piano recitals and playing chamber music David Strong is a passionate believer in playing for children and young people and is very active in the field of schools concerts and school music projects. His lecture recital, together with David Carlton Smith, "Playing Pictures" has also proved very popular. He studied piano at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester under Marjorie Clementi. In 1990 he moved to Denmark where he won the position of pianist in the Jutland Ensemble.

	Henrik Husum - Oboe Henrik Husum studied with Bjørn Carl Nielsen and Jørgen Hammergaard and took diploma from The Royal Danish Academy Music in 1986. Han continued studies with Gordon Hunt in London and Lothar Koch in Salzburg. He has assisted in danish symfoniorchestras, member of Århus Sinfonietta and member of The Jutland Ensemble since 1988.

	Jens Juul - Horn Jens Juul was born in Copenhagen in 1961. He has tudied with Bjørn Fosdal and Poul Erik Vilsbæk at The Royal Danish Academy of Music. Studies in Stockholm with Ib Lanzky-Otto. Freelancing between 1984-89. In 1996-97 private CD-project with music for horne and organ i cooperation with Danish National Radio. Member of The Jutland Ensemble since 1989.

	Mina Luka Fred - Viola Mina Luka fred was bors in Sweden. Studied the viola in academy of Music i Aarhus where from she graduated with performance diploma in 2007. Member of The Jutland Ensemble since september 2007.

	Muriel Cellier - Cello Muriel has studied cello in Lyon, Paris, Bruxelles and London, and as well as a degree in cello she holds a degree in art and performance. Muriel has been playing with the ensemble since August 2008.

	Uffe Munkgaard - Bassoon Uffe Munkgaard was borg in Copenhagen in 1958. He studied at The Royal Danish Academy of Music with Peter Bastian. Later studies in Hamburg and Budapest. Scholarships: The Grant of The Hungarian State, Augustinus Shaws Scholarship. Member of The Jutland Ensemble since 1988.

	Ulla Østergaard - Clarinet Ulla Østergaard was born on the island of Fyn in 1958. She studied with Jens Schou and took diploma from The Academy of Music in Odense in 1986. She continued studies with Georgina Dobrée på The Royal Academy of Music, London and with Søren Birkelund from The Royal Danish Orchestral. Member of The Jutland Ensemble since1988.

	Øssur Bæk - Violin Øssur Bæk has played the violin since he was eight years old. He studied at the Academy of Music of Odense from 1983-1987. In 1987 he was accepted in Viktor Libermans International Professional Violin Class at the Utrecht Conservatory from where he graduated with a soloist diploma in 1990. He has been a memeber of The Royal Danish Orhestra between 1993-98 and since 1999 at The Jutland Ensemble.
