The aim of the The Jutland Ensemble is to promote classical music to the residents of the North-Western part of Jutland. We focus on presenting classical music to new listeners by doing school concerts and concerts in new venues. The ensemble has until 2010 been one of the so-called basis ensembles of Denmark. From 2011, the ensemble is independent. The Jutland Ensemble was founded in 1988 and is supported by the Danish Arts Council´s Committee for Music and Viborg, Skive, and Morsø counties.
